Mojo Nixon at the Lion's Lair

Mojo Nixon is best known for playing psychobilly music. Word on the street was that he had officially retired from playing live and recording, though he does host several radio shows on Sirius Satellite Radio and has come out of retirement for one-off events, such as an event to support fellow musician Kinky Freidman's candidacy for Texas governor, and now an appearance at Colfax Avenue's own, World Famous Lion's Lair. This is a rare chance to catch the man who wrote one of my favorite songs, "Elvis is Everywhere", a deification of Elvis Presley. Nixon later declared his personal religious Trinity was Presley, Foghorn Leghorn and Otis Campbell.
