--The RTD 15 bus is by far the most entertaining ride in Colorado (other than your lover).
--East Colfax in Denver houses the Bluebird Theater, a gritty venue that rivals most in Denver, per me.
--West Colfax in Denver has a sketchy bathhouse (all ears, John Travolta?) the Big Bunny Motel (used to be Bugs Bunny but the pay-by-the-hour shack got sued by Warner Bros.) and the Mexican Disneyland we dub Casa Bonita.
-- The stretch from Colorado Avenue to Broadway makes bar hopping a favorite sport. Wear adult diapers.
--"Playboy" has called Colfax "the longest, wickedest street in America."
Needless to say, Colfax Avenue has some history.
Fitting that the McNichols Building, 144 W. Colfax Ave., Denver, (hey, the Nuggets used to play there!) is hosting and all-photography show Traveling Route 40: Celebrating the Character of Colfax Avenue.
The traveling show will make its way around the area (visit 40westarts.org for all locations), through the end of April with more than 50 pieces on display.
