Mini-Golf on Colfax, circa-1930!

Denver Public Library, Western History Collection Call No. X-27509

The art deco gas station that still sits on this lot now (recently developed into a 7-11) must have been built not long after this photo was taken. This is directly across the street from where Pete's Kitchen and The Satire are today, the apartment building directly ahead is where Mama's Cafe (formerly IHOP) is now. You can see the Aladdin Theatre and castle-like Weicker Transfer & Storage building down the street. (Courtesy The Denver Eye)
